Club chairman Mike Smith was both surprised and delighted to receive the Simon Hedley Award from the Surrey Primary League for services to Youth Football – special mention was made of the Surrey Soccer programme hosted by Mike throughout the season on Brooklands FM.

Says Mike:

“I attended the SPL Awards afternoon for winning teams on behalf of Oxshott and was gobsmacked to receive this accolade.  Simon will be missed by all – his love of grass roots football, as shown by his sterling work as Club Secretary for the league, is a lasting testament to the man.”
