More Silverware! SPL U11 Plate Final – Oxshott Royals 6-0 Woking + Maybury

The match was the 3rd meeting between the sides this season. Both teams were really excited about playing at Chelsea and this only added to the occasion along with the fervent support of both sets of fans. Oxshott raced into a 2-0 lead within 10 minutes which effectively killed the game. At the end we recorded a comfortable 6-0 win with goals coming from Lazlo Jepson 3, Harry Butcher 2 and Adam McCormack.

Well done to the boys, and to coaches Andy and Aiden.

U16s win Mayford 5-a-side tournament Junior Cup

Congratulations to the U16s on their win against Alexandra Youth in the Mayford Junior Cup final today!

The team played 4 group games (winning three and drawing one) before winning the semi final and final – conceding only one goal and scoring eight throughout the tournament!

The Surrey Primary League U11A are in the Plate Final on the 13th May – it’s 2.30 pm KO at Chelsea’s training ground vs Woking and Maybury.

The U18 Youth County Cup Final has bee re-rearranged and will now be played on Friday 11th May, KO at 7.30pm at Westfield FC (next to Woking leisure centre).

The U17/18 team coached by Kevin have won the Surrey Youth Premier League title, with 4 games to spare!

Part one of the their treble quest – two cup finals to come… the team now go on to look for victory in both the League and County Cup finals!

The U11 Colts - Champions!

Congratulations to the U11 Colts (coached by Clive and Rob) for clinching the Surrey Youth League Divison 4 League Championship on Sunday.

The boys have been brilliant all season, dropping only 2 points so far, and scoring an amazing 126 goals!

Congratulations to the U18s for winning their County Cup Semi Final 2-0 to advance to the final against Epsom and Ewell Colts on May 1st @ Westfield FC. Good luck to Kevin and the team as they push for the Treble!

Also congratulations to the U13 A Team (coached by Michael and Dave) on joining the U13B team in finals day at Godalming FC, on April 29th.

Avorians Cricket Club Open Day

Avorians Academy Open Day/Registration (for boys and girls aged 7 to 15) is on Sunday 1st April at 2pm.

It will be a chance to meet the committee and the coaching staff, and any new children wanting a “taster” will be able to join coaching classes on the outfield or in the nets (weather permitting!) Avorians is based next to Notre Dame school. Hope to see you there!
